The Remembered and the Real

If you think of memories as islands floating in the water. I would wonder if they could move around, in time, space and in your consciousness. Instead of being fixed to the ocean floor like in reality. 

Then again who's reality is as fixed and permanent as the location of already existing islands. Its that internal core of our world that changes, controls and is as unstable as our memories. With this, one can realize how little control we have, and how our memories, actions and choices are what dictate how we bubble up from the earths crust.
